Pine Ridge Campground

Custom Next.js site with interactive event calendar, amenity showcases, and seasonal application workflows for an RV campground.

Visit Live SiteHospitality / Tourism

The Challenge

Pine Ridge Campground needed a modern website that could showcase their amenities, display their packed event calendar, and handle seasonal camper applications. Their previous site was static and required manual updates for every event.

The campground hosts themed weekends, holiday events, and community activities throughout the camping season. They needed a way for potential guests to see what's happening and for seasonal campers to apply online.

Key Features

Interactive Event Calendar

Dynamic calendar showing campground events, themed weekends, and seasonal activities with filtering and detail views.

Amenity Showcases

Visual galleries and descriptions of campground facilities including pool, clubhouse, fishing pond, and recreational areas.

Seasonal Application Workflow

Custom forms for seasonal camper applications with validation and submission handling.

Mobile-First Design

Responsive design optimized for campers browsing on phones while traveling.

The Solution

Built a custom Next.js application with Airtable as a headless CMS for events. The campground staff can add, edit, and remove events from Airtable, and the website updates automatically.

The event calendar features month navigation, category filtering, and expandable event details. Each event can include images, descriptions, times, and registration links.

For seasonal applications, I created a multi-step form with validation that collects all required information and submits to their management system.

Why Next.js Over WordPress?

Most campground websites use WordPress. Here's why we chose a modern approach.

Campers often browse on slow mobile connections while traveling. A fast, mobile-optimized site means fewer bounces and more bookings.
