What is your hourly rate?
My hourly rate is $150/hr for custom development work. For defined projects like websites, I often provide fixed-price quotes so you know exactly what to expect.
Do you offer fixed-price packages?
Yes. Landing pages start at $1,500, business websites range from $3,500-$7,500 depending on complexity. Check my pricing page for full details.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept credit cards, bank transfers (ACH), PayPal, and checks. Invoices are sent via email with secure payment links.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, I require 50% upfront for fixed-price projects. The remaining 50% is due upon completion before the site goes live. For hourly work, I invoice weekly or bi-weekly.
Do you offer payment plans?
For projects over $5,000, I can split payments into 2-3 milestone-based installments. Let me know your needs during our initial conversation.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. Your quote includes everything discussed. The only additions would be if you request features beyond the original scope, which I'll price separately before proceeding.
What does ongoing maintenance cost?
Monthly maintenance starts at $200/month for basic sites (security updates, backups, minor edits). Complex applications with databases and integrations may cost $300-500/month depending on requirements.
Timeline & Process
How long does a website project take?
Landing pages: 1-2 weeks. Business websites: 3-6 weeks. Custom applications: 6-12 weeks depending on complexity. I'll provide a specific timeline in your quote.
What's involved in your process?
My process has 6 phases: Discovery (understanding your needs), Design (visual mockups), Development (building the site), Testing (quality assurance), Launch (going live), and Support (post-launch help). See my process page for full details.
Will I see progress during the project?
Absolutely. You'll have access to a staging site where you can see the work in progress. I provide regular updates and check-ins throughout the project.
How many revisions are included?
Packages include 2-3 rounds of revisions (specified in your contract). Additional revisions beyond that are billed hourly. I find that most projects are completed well within the included revisions.
What happens if the project takes longer than expected?
If delays are on my side, there's no additional charge. If delays result from extended client feedback cycles or scope changes, we'll discuss adjusted timelines and any cost implications before proceeding.
Can you work on a rush timeline?
Rush projects are possible for an additional 25-50% fee depending on how compressed the timeline is. I'll let you know upfront if a rush timeline is feasible for your project scope.

What technologies do you use?
I primarily build with Next.js (React), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Node.js. For e-commerce, I work with Shopify. For automation, I use n8n and custom integrations. The specific stack depends on your project needs.
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Every website I build is mobile-first and fully responsive. Sites are tested across devices and screen sizes before launch. Mobile performance is a priority.
Do you provide hosting?

Can you help with SEO?
Basic SEO is included with every website: proper metadata, structured data, sitemap, performance optimization, and Google Search Console setup. For ongoing SEO services, I offer monthly packages.
Can you integrate AI into my website?

Yes. Monthly maintenance packages start at $200/month and include backups, security updates, performance monitoring, and up to 2 hours of minor content changes.
Can I update the website myself?
Depending on the build, yes. For sites with content management needs, I can integrate a headless CMS that allows you to update content easily. For static sites, content changes require developer access.
What if I need changes after launch?
Small changes during the support period are included. After that, changes are billed at my hourly rate ($150/hr) or covered under a maintenance plan. I'm always available for updates.
Do you offer training on how to use my website?
Yes. I provide a walkthrough session showing you how to update content, manage features, and use any admin tools. I also provide written documentation for common tasks.
Can you help if my site goes down?

Working Together
How do we communicate during the project?

Do I own the final website?
Yes. Once the project is complete and paid in full, you own all custom code, designs, and content. Third-party assets (stock photos, fonts) may have separate licenses I'll provide.
What do you need from me during the project?
Timely feedback on designs, content (text, images, logos), and access to any existing accounts or assets. The more responsive you are, the faster the project moves.
What if the project scope changes?
Scope changes happen—it's normal. I'll let you know how changes affect the timeline and cost before proceeding. Significant additions may require a change order with adjusted pricing.
Can I provide my own content?
Absolutely. I prefer when clients provide their own text, photos, and brand assets. If you need help, I can recommend copywriters or source stock photography as an additional service.
